Quick Help

Caring answers to your important questions.

We understand choosing care for loved ones is a big decision. This section answers questions about our services, caregivers, and approach to elderly care.

Home health care means receiving professional medical or supportive care in your own home not in a hospital or nursing facility. Amedisys+2memorialhermann+2

You may benefit from our services if you or a loved one:

  • is recovering from an illness, injury, or surgery
  • has a chronic medical condition (for instance diabetes, heart disease, COPD)
  • needs help with skilled care such as nursing, therapy, or medication management
  • struggles with mobility or leaving the home easily (homebound) Amedisys+2Cedar Community+2

We offer a broad range of services, including but not limited to:

  • Skilled nursing care (wound care, medication management, infusion therapy, etc.)
  • Rehabilitation therapies (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy)
  • Home health aide services (assistance with daily living, hygiene, mobility)
  • Medical social work / care coordination and support
  • Personalized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs and physician’s orders Amedisys+2memorialhermann+2

Yes. Home health care must be ordered by your physician. Once your doctor prescribes care, our team will coordinate with you and your physician to develop a personalized plan of care. memorialhermann+1

After receiving your doctor’s referral, we conduct an initial assessment at your home to evaluate your medical and personal care needs. Then we build a care plan including the type of services, frequency of visits, and responsible caregivers in collaboration with you, your doctor, and your family. As your condition changes, we revisit and update the plan. Amedisys+1

Our caregivers go through a rigorous screening and hiring process:

  • State licensing / certification (for nurses, therapists, aides) or accreditation where required Maxim Healthcare+1
  • Comprehensive background checks and reference verification Maxim Healthcare+1
  • Ongoing training and supervision by licensed professionals (e.g. RNs) to ensure high-quality care and compliance with relevant standards. Amedisys+1

Often yes if the services are medically necessary and ordered by a physician. Many insurance plans, including private insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid, may cover part or all of home health services. For non-covered services (e.g. purely personal care), out-of-pocket payment may be required. We help clients explore all available coverage options. Northwestern Medicine+2 Compassus+2

Yes. For care needs not covered by insurance (for example, assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, companion care), Iman Home Health Care can offer private-pay services tailored to your needs.

Typically we aim to begin services as soon as possible within 24 to 48 hours after we receive the physician’s order and complete the intake assessment. We understand many situations are urgent, and we strive to respond quickly while ensuring proper matching and screening of caregivers.

At Iman Home Health Care, we understand that comfort and trust are crucial. If you are unhappy with your caregiver or need to adjust scheduling, you can request a change. We will work with you to find a better match or modify the care plan as needed.

We maintain clear protocols for emergencies. If a caregiver cannot make a scheduled visit (illness, unforeseeable event), we provide substitute staffing or coordinate with you and family to adjust care. We also ensure that all care, incidents, and changes are logged and communicated with your physician and family.

Getting started is easy: simply call or email us to request an in-home consultation. We’ll gather necessary information, review your insurance or payment options, coordinate with your physician for a care order, and schedule your first visit.
